AN provides at least 5000 free meals annually to the children and parents it serves, including healthy, nutritious evening meals in its afterschool program (four evenings a week during the academic year; at Hikone and Green Baxter Court). Meals are prepared by Food Gatherers, volunteer groups (e.g. Ann Arbor Hope Church), CAN staff, and Hikone parents.During our six-week summer camps, youth receive two healthy meals each day, when free and reduced school lunches are not available.CAN also coordinates food
