      I will have access to 1-1/2 palettes of fresh, organic eggplant. Do you accept this type of donation for your food pantry? I can deliver. As in the past, I will share some with the Open Arms Mission in Lake Villa and a rehab center in Lake Geneva. There is such an abundance this time, I thought I would I would reach out to other organizations. If you know of another group that could benefit, please let me know.

      The food pantry located at the Avon Township Center is NOT the Avon Township Food Pantry. This food pantry is run by a not for profit organization, not Avon Township. The name of the Pantry is the Avon Community Food Pantry. We are much different than a typical 'township' style food pantry. Wendy M. Warden President Avon Community Food Pantry

    Provides a food pantry.

    Pantry Hours:
    Monday 1:00pm - 3:30pm
    Tuesday 9:00am - 11:30pm
    Wednesday 1:00pm - 3:30pm
    Friday 9:00am - 11:30am
    Closed all federal and state holidays.
    Lunch and restocking from 11:30-1:00PM
    They are always in need of volunteers to help out on the days they are open as well as some Thursday's to organize.
