    I volunteered for the food pantry back in 2019-2020 right before the the pandemic. I would like to continue if it is possible. Thankyou

Pantry Details, hours, photos, information: Giving Hands Food Pantry at First United Methodist Church

Food Pantry Distribution Hours: BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
Wednesday and Thursday 2:00p.m-4:00pm
Households may come once per month by appointment

Mobile Food Pantry:
2nd Saturday of the Month 8:30AM-1:00PM

Requirements:
For Residents living in Newton, Jasper and Butts Counties only.
Photo ID with proof of Newton County residency (If your photo ID does not a Newton County address bring a piece of mail or other proof of Newton County address).
Names and dates of birth of your household members.

Donations:
Nonperishable foods can be donated to Giving Hands Food Pantry on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays anytime between 9:30 AM and 1:00 PM.

Food Delivery:
They provide monthly food box deliveries to homebound individuals who are unable to visit the food pantry, sometimes there is  a waiting list for these deliveries.
To be added to the list, please email foodpantryadm@covingtonfirst.org or call (770)786-7305 ext. 1, leaving your name, birth date, and address.
They will reach out to you when they can include you in their delivery schedule.
