I'm wondering if you help pay storage bill, if not - do you have any other resources of who may be able to help?
Say I was at the food pantry in Afton this past Saturday and I think it's great what is being done to help those who have fallen on hard times. The problem I had was handing out food that has mold on it and things that are expired. The strawberries and blueberries both had mold. The milk was expired. Now I ask you this. Would you eat food with mold on it or drink milk that is expired? If not then don't even put things like this out. That is degrading to people and saying well they are poor and if they want food then we will serve them things only a pig would eat. Mold on food can make a person sick. Expired products can make a person sick. My suggestion to you is to not put stuff out that is full of mold or expired. Thank you for trying to help others in their time of need, but do not place bad things on tables that you know will make people sick specially children. Before food is handed out to people check it over to make sure it really is edible. Look at the food and ask yourself if you would eat this same food you are offering to others. Please do not put food out anymore that has mold on it or products that are expired. That is just plain wrong to do to people who have fallen on hard times. These people just want to be able to feed their families. Disabled people like myself need food to eat so we don't continue to stay sick. You serve spoiled food people will get sick and then you will end up with a lawsuit. Put decent food out other wise bad things will happen when all you were trying to do was help others out. I personally do not want to see bad things happen to people who have big hearts.
