This food bank has been so helpful, I don't know what I would do without it. They never ask for too much information and are always friendly and helpful. Also there are no long lines to stand in, it moves quickly. A great variety of food and I'm grateful.

Went to Catholic Charities today and it was a bad experience, I am married and have 3 kids, I lost my job a few months back and have been struggling, so i decided to go up there because someone said they give food out, so i got there and they gave me 2 boxes of Romaine Lettuce, radishes and white rice and one loaf of stale Cuban bread and that was it, what made it really bad is the lady right after me got 4 or 5 boxes with cookies, cakes, meats, cangoods, etc... I may be down on my luck but that feels like a complete kick in the head! I'm not sure of they thought my kids are rabbits or she just thought I didn't really need anything, because I'm not dirty or homeless, but it made me feel like a piece of crap!
