Mission Statement It is with the generous support of our individual and corporate donors that the Food Bank of Central Louisiana is able to serve more than 22,400 people every month in our community. For every dollar donated, the Food Bank of Central Louisiana can provide five meals to families in need. Each year, the Feeding America network of food banks and food-rescue organizations distributes more than two billion pounds of food and grocery products to support feeding programs at approximately 50,000 local charitable agencies, including food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters, after-school programs and Kids Cafes. Every dollar, every can of food, is one more step towards ending hunger in our community. The Food Bank of Central Louisiana would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to all of those whose donations make our work possible every single day. Together, we can provide hope to the hungry people here in Central Louisiana.

Always kind and never waiting to get loaded.
The food bank came through for us at a rather busy time for them were shortages were newsworthy and people getting help were unsurmountable. However, as far as I could tell there was no one turned away and They provided us with enough food for about a week which was a Quality welcome variety of meat even providing a ham and frozen chicken beans potatoes and corn on the cob along with fresh green beans.
