*Commodity Supply Food-Depending upon availability, commodities from the US Dept. of Ag surplus stocks are provided to non-profit charitable institutions that regularly serve meals to needy persons. In addition to surplus food, Congress appropriates money to purchase food for soup kitchens and food banks.
*Food Pantries/Shelter and feeding sites-Provides food supplies and other items depending on the location of the food pantry. Persons generally need to be referred by a church or social service agency.
* Important: Please call the food pantries to confirm that the hours have not changed. We do our best to provide full information and details, but food pantries often change their hours without notifying us. We do not want you to waste your time visiting a pantry that is not open.
