    Patty and volunteers are compassionate people who serve some of the most needy in the Martinsville area. My wife and began supporting the Red Door this year. We donate, food and needed supplies including - Canned chicken with pull top lids ( homeless clients don't usually have access to a kitchen and can eat from these, unheated and without a can opener; packages of wet wipes for personal cleaning, adult diapers, baby diapers size 3 & 2, women's sanity pads - things people don't usually think to donate. We also donate MUCH NEEDED money to help purchase purchasable difficult for people to donate ( i.e. milk, eggs, meat, etc.). We visit often and feel the Red Door is helping people that may not be able to obtain sufficient food/ assistance from other organizations. We live in a society plagued by obesity and it is difficult to see individuals and families who don't have enough to eat. Check out the Red Door and consider helping meet this need.
