    Mission: Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope! The PCMA Food Pantry of Pickerington is a non-profit choice food pantry located at 70 Cross Street in Pickerington, Ohio. The Food Pantry provides emergency food assistance, once a month, to 100% of the eligible residents in the Pickerington Local School District who present for service. "The food pantry is a choice pantry, meaning that it operates much like a grocery store, where clients are given a list of categories from which they are free to choose whatever food they like to correspond with dietary restrictions and preferences. Each person in a household is given enough food to last the equivalent of 8 days, or 24 meals, to supplement the household's food for the month. The food pantry makes an effort to provide nutritious food for clients, including fresh produce every week and occasionally recipes to help prepare food that clients are not familiar with. The vast majority of the food distributed from the pantry is either purchased at a steep discount from the Mid-Ohio Foodbank or donated by various sources round the community, including grocery stores, churches, and schools.

    Monday
    6:30pm-8:30pm
    Thursday & Saturday
    10:00am - 12:00pm

    During this time, clients who have made an appointment through our United Way partner and connection--Fairfield County 211 or (740) 687-0500. May come in and receive food for each eligible member of the household.In addition to monthly shopping, the food pantry provides two additional meals during the holiday season, a Thanksgiving basket in November and a Christmas basket in December.
