Was wondering if the food pantry can turn someone away. today my dad was turned away because on of the ladies stated for the whole place to hear that he gets 3 good meals a day because he lives in an assisted living community where he does get served meals but if they have something he cant eat or doesnt like then he has to fend for him self or if he has a doctor appt. and misses the meal he has to fend for himself also. He has a small kitchen in his apartment. He uses to get the link card and got 16.00 but he does not anymore cause the facility he lives in took that and they take all of his ss income and pension so he doesnt have money to buy stuff. So can they turn him away because of this. If someone could answer this question for me. Thank you
I would like more information on what you need to bring to get assistance. I recently moved into town and in need of help
