      They are the Best!! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They always have new things and they are great. During the main pandemic they gave out free packages of masks! Wow never thought they would do that!! They are the best!! Always there to help you!!

    Food Programs Available:
    Food Pantry
    Mobile Food Pantry
    Senior Package Delivery
    Backpack Food Assistance

    Food Pantry hours:
    Mondays through Fridays 10:00am to 12:45pm
    Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 4:00pm to 7:45pm

    Eligibility:
    Resident of La Crosse County
    Meet income guidelines

    Notes:
    Each food package contains 4-5 days worth of food per person
    You may come to WAFER once each month
    Patrons shop for items to make up their food package
    Options available for non-perishable items and fresh produce
    Personal care items for adults and babies available

    Drive-thru food package pickup services program for seniors:
    Available for established patrons
    Must be aged 60+ with physical limitations, or referral by WAFER staff
    Photo ID is required
    Available Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
