I’m inquiring for my mom and dad. They live in Algonquin il. I was wondering if they are eligible to come to your food bank.
Great caring people, I love this place, God bless them.
Last year I visited the Willow Creek Community church to ask about the car repair program. I was told you were overwhelmed with requests to service cars. I need to ask again, as I am a single mother of 3 young children looking for a job with-out a working vehicle. I live in unincorporated Elk Grove Vlg.;. no sidewalks, busses and my youngest is not in school yet. My husband abandoned our family shortly after the birth of our 3rd daughter; I was not employed at that time. Four years of supplying IL. department of Child-support enforcement accurate information on my husbands employment & address was useless as the sheriffs department was overwhelmed with serving evictions, child support orders... I waited on a list for Chgo Volunteer Lawyers and after a year & $60 for a P.I., he was finally served. It only took the P.I. two weeks, using the same information I provided ChldSprtEnf. I just started receiving about $600.00 a month for three children; owe $40,000 in back rent and $5,000. in credit card debt for utilities, insurance... I'm hoping that I can be put on a list for car-repair service if you have one, if not a prayer list would be GR8. I have very little faith in our State of IL. programs but I have never wavered from having faith in God and His plan. God Bless everyone at the Willow Creek Community, I pray for and thank you all for the many services provided by your dedicated fellowship. Sincerely, Kathy Z
